Driven Hunt
We provide you with an enormous variety of challenging and enjoyable shooting. The most incredible bird, Reeves pheasant rocketing downwind over wooded valleys, partridges flaring over high hedges or duck escaping over the lakes.
We are known to be an unique driven bird shooting estate in France for the quality of our birds, visited by driven game bird enthusiasts from all over the world.
For more than 30 years, the estate has organized classic driven reeves pheasant shoots also known as King pheasant or Golden pheasant. Both Anne Sophie and Alexandre with their very professional gamekeepers, takes care of the hunting and ensure their guests enjoy an unforgettable stay in the wonderful surroundings of their castle.
The shooting is carried out in the traditional way with beaters and dogs. You will stand on a line front of the forest waiting the hight-flying birds. If you are a group of less than 6 people, it is often possible to join together with another group.
The beats offer traditional shooting of high-flying birds in relatively hilly terrain; which allows one to take advantage of the differences in altitude to present some birds that give really challenging shooting at more than 40 meters. The average is between 4 to 8 cartridges per birds and the tableau around 200 to 500 birds in a group of 10 guns.

Rough Shooting
Seeing trained labradors or Springer spaniels at work, flushing out game from cover as the group walks along is a joy to watch. The dogs are trained to retrieve the shot game back to the Gun.
In January or February after the driven season, we organize some classical walk-up rough shooting, first for pheasants, but also for ducks, rabbits and occasional woodcock. Both Anne Sophie and Alexandre, together with their team of keepers will work their dogs to flush the birds. A walked up day over dogs could be for a team of 1 to 4 guns.
You will walk with 1 or 2 dogs and expect to shoot about 10 birds.
Mallard ducks hunting
We arrange very nice ducks hunting with thousands of birds flying over your head. The hunting is traditional, exciting and perfectly organised. Depending on group size we can offer daily bags of about 200 up to 1000 ducks per shooting day with 6 - 15 guns in line.
The shoot take place in different lake wich make that the quality of the birds are very high and challenging. You will be mooved to the diferent place by 4x4 vehicule.
Hunting season from end of August to end of January.
